Welcome to Durham-based Four Paws Photos, owned by pet-enthusiast and photographer Chris Nelson.

Chris specializes in providing documentary-style pet photography of cherished animal family members.  He offers fun images and unique perspectives.  Whether your pet is the extroverted clown who always makes you laugh or the shy but faithful companion who gives you comfort, Chris tries to ensure your pet’s unique personality will shine through.

Photo shoots are available for clients in the greater Raleigh/Durham area.

While taking on private clients, he donates a lot of his services to rescue and adoptable pets.  He feels strongly that capturing a rescue animal’s personality in a photograph helps the animal put their best paw forward with potential adopters.  In addition, helping organizations raise awareness by photographing events helps more pets find the loving homes they deserve.
